Yesterday, Nate and I made a trip to the Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch.

The Pumpkin Patch also has hay rides, a corn maze, a small animal farm, a market, and concessions. The corn maze was, unfortunately, too muddy (due to all the rain we’ve had lately), but we found a pumpkin and enjoyed the views from the patch.
Here’s a photo of Mount Saint Helens – the camera really doesn’t do it justice. We could also see Mount Adams.

At the market, they were selling spent flowers for $1 a piece.

I saw this pot of mums, and I just couldn’t resist.

I love this peachy color, and I’m optimistic that with some regular water and maybe a repotting, these mums will live to see another Halloween.

Back at home, we carved up our pumpkin.

Happy Halloween!

There’s the pumpkin! I read your posts out of order. The Mount St Helens photo is really pretty.
